Clarence McAllister, PE
Clarence has more than 30 years of experience in engineering and construction. As Founder and CEO of Fortis, he leads the company’s overall strategic direction. Fortis is an engineering and construction firm based in Phoenix and established in 2000, serving government and commercial customers nationwide. Clarence is also focused on developing real estate projects in Opportunity Zones to improve neglected communities and uplift its residents.
Clarence holds a bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Nova Southeastern University. He is a licensed professional engineer, registered communications distribution designer, and licensed aircraft pilot. He is a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership; Young President Organization (YPO); Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity; Society of American Military Engineers; and the board of Dreamspring, a small business microlender. He was appointed by Governor Ducey in 2020 to the Arizona Board of Technical Registration.
